Such High Hopes

I had such high hopes for a thoughtful blog post this weekend. There are several things I've been meaning to write a bit about. Somehow, the weekend got away from me. It was incredibly productive. It just didn't get me any closer to sitting down to think and write.

However, the taxes are filed, the living room is almost completely repainted, the new curtains are ready for sewing, and the planting beds have been weeded. And I spent far too much time trying to understand how WordPress themes get edited and websites get propagated. More on that in the future.

I hope your weekend was a bit more relaxing than mine. We're starting a new week.  Are you ready?

    The photo of the orchid will do me as a brilliant post! It's so beautiful!!! What colour are you painting your lounge room? And I wonder what fabric your curtains will be?

    It sounds like you got an amazing number of things accomplished, and that is a wonderful way to start the week. My Monday isn't going quite as planned but I am enjoying it nonetheless.

    Am I ever ready? Probably not. But its a week with more days predominantly home, so I like that.
