So....what do you think? Here's the bag in its first stage of development. I need to tweak the flap just a bit but other than that, I think it's ready to write up the pattern. This version is done in Joel Dewberry's Heirloom fabrics. Version two has been cut from Anna Maria's Loulouthi. I'll be sharing photos of that one when it's completed.
The bag has Stinka's stamp of approval. She was more than eager to help grab a quick photo. Just look at her hanging there waiting for an opportunity to get into the shot. Crazy cat.
Happy Valentine's Day from Casa P!
Gosh I almost missed Stinka up there! Her eyes caught my eye!
ReplyDeleteI think I am sending you my address! That's gorgeous Melissa! Love the bow. Stinka cracks me up.
ReplyDeleteThe colors in the bag seem to be bursting out of the tree. What is wrong with the flap? I can't tell that anything needs to be changed. You have done a great job with it. How difficult is the pattern? How is your migraine? I just saw I missed another post. Was it from the paint fumes, or just a regular migraine? I get them too. Not fun at all. Hope you are back to "normal". Carolina

Lovely! I just bought Heirloom and Loulouthi and I'm planning to mix those two - I hope it works! Both in voile. Can't wait to see how the bag will look like in Loulouthi.
ReplyDeleteI hope your migraine is getting better. I don't get them but we have it in the family so I know what it does to a person :( I hope this was a last one for you for a very long time!
Melissa!!!! I'm sorry I've been away and missed your posts! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag!! Looks like it will be another one to add to my stylish Melissa Bag Collection. :o) You never cease to amaze me, sister. Seriously.
