I am, however, excited about this new bag. This is the first prototype. It is coming together as envisioned--a fact I find amazing given the idea was conceived, sketched and planned in a migraine fog. (For those of you lucky people who have never experienced a migraine, this is no small feat.) Finishing details and straps are on the agenda for tomorrow. At that point, you can decide how well my brain was functioning when inspiration hit.
What's been occupying your time lately? Tell me. I need some vicarious thrills.
While your life sounds so exciting to me...getting to sew as much as you like...mine is exciting but soooo stressful. I spent my weekend trying to get all the finishing touches on taxes and doctors appointments for the kids squared away. We also had a bit of snow and ice so we had some neighbors over for some homemade chicken and noodles, indian spiced vegetables, rolls, and apple pie. The two things I wanted to get done (making cupcakes or cookie and quilting) did not get any attention at all. I am sorry about the migraine though...they are no fun. I never had headaches until after I had my kids...then I had migraines. Hope you are feeling much better.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get to feeling better. I think you know what I have been up to! I went from headless chicken Wednesdays to headless chicken life! I am trying to resteer this ship girl.
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed you manage to get anything done with a migraine. I hope it's gone by now. Your bag is looking beautiful, the fabric is especially gorgeous. The alstromeria flowers in the first photo are so pretty, they are such a lovely flower.
ReplyDeleteOh dear! Must be the paint fumes right? Did you get it done? Can't wait to see your new bag!
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. I have a migraine about once a year, but my dad has chronic ones :( More power to you! I have been sewing a up a storm of mug rugs this last week :D
