Sis Boom fans had a great week. Jennifer's Crazy Love collection has arrived in stores. Orders were placed, boxes received and general happy mayhem has ensued. I happen to know that three of my "Sis Boom Sisters" were cutting and sewing their stacks yesterday.
I didn't get quite that far. I've been folding and unfolding, draping, stacking, auditioning and letting the fabric speak. And after all of that preparation, I have yet to make a decision. Where to start, what to make first, which colorway to use. Two cups of coffee this morning hasn't made it any clearer.
Guess how I'll be spending my weekend. I hope you have "Fun" on your list of things for the weekend. Have a Happy Friday, all!
I knew I would freeze if I did that! I had to just start cutting but I went with patterns I knew so that made it easier. Coming up with fresh ideas definitely takes longer! whatever you do with it, it will be gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh pretty! So many choices, can't wait to see what you do? Or will you finish painting first?
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on that! So hard to decide, yet it all looks good mismatched. Yet, how would it look in a single colorway??? I have 6 different projects I'm working on at the same time just for CL!! Have fun!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of Crazy Love being the center of attention in sewing rooms everywhere! I dont have mine quite yet so I'll go and play with my other Sis Boom fabrics, and wait in anticipation to see what you decide to make first.
ReplyDeleteOH! I'd be making me one of my favorites with those fabrics in the top picture, a patchwork skirt!
ReplyDeleteI love the fun bright colours! Letting the fabrics speak is a great way to be happy with the end product.
