Sun, sky and clouds. Those are the things I think of when I look at these fabrics from Dena Designs new collection. Taza will be in stores in this month. But I have some to share, so let's have a giveaway, shall we?
The lucky winner will get these eight quarter yard pieces. That's the equivalent of two yards, enough for some summer fun. So...here's the drill:
- Leave a comment on this post. Be sure your email address is associated with your profile ID or include it in your comment. Please, please, please do not be a No Reply Blogger. (If no email is associated with the winner's comment, a different winner will be chosen.)
- Tell me something about the way you use fabric in your home. Is it only in your stash? Do you find anyway possible to incorporate it into your decor? Do you want to do more with fabric but don't know how to begin?
- The winner will be chosen by Random Number Generator.
- International entrants are welcome.
- Deadline to enter is Wednesday, July 13, 2011 by midnight Pacific Standard Time.
I make quilts. I also use fabric to decorate, trying to keep everything fresh.
ReplyDeleteI wont put my hand up for the giveaway,I've been a very lucky recipient of lovely things in recent times but I just want to comment on those beautiful fabrics. They remind me of the beach, of yellow sand and cool blue waters. I really like the name Taza too, it's short and catchy.
ReplyDeleteLovely fabric! I like to use fabrics wherever I can. I have framed pieces, quilts, runners, clothes, bags... you name it. I've been sewing since I was little, so I like to fabrify everything. My hubs dreads the day I begin using Mod Podge. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely giveaway, and great colour combination. I love to make cushions, cover old chairs and freshen up recycled furniture, but most of all i love to quilt. :) Stacey

I opened your blog and saw those fabrics. I was blown away! They express our Australian summer very well, and got my mind bubbling with ideas.
ReplyDeleteMy fabric mostly gets used in quilts, but I also make cushions, little wallhangings, and skirts. Now I have to Grand babies so I will be using some of my stash for toys and clothes for them, too. :)
I love all sorts of fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI make quilts and bags and do a little dressmaking - I do upholstery as well so you can see that fabric plays a large part in my life!!
my latest project was to make myself a pieced shower curtain - if I ever get tired of it I will take it down and make a quilt out of it.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful fabrics!
ReplyDeleteHow do I use fabric in my house? I've recently made some pillows for my new couch, and there is a quilt folded over one of the arms too. I have some to make new curtains, but just haven't gotten to it yet. And beside that, I have stacks & piles of it all over, insulating the house, just in case of, um, global cooling. Yeah, that what there for, insulation!
LOVE LOVE LOVE these fabrics!! I use fabric for decorating, showing love, sitting in my sewing room dreaming of what all the pretties will grow up to be... :o) Thanks for the chance at such a gorgeous giveaway, Melissa!
ReplyDeletegorgeous fabrics - I like to do table runners, cushions, little things like that for my home - fabric in the home is great cause its easily changed - thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI love the colours of the fabric. I use fabric to make quilts and when my children were little I made them clothes. Thank you for sharing.

ReplyDeletethanks
I'm starting a quilt, want to make some pillows, make bags, clothes, and placemats.
ReplyDeleteI love these fabrics. I use them to cover plain white lampshades, use fabric Mod Podge to line drawers, tray bottoms or cabinet shelves. I have made my own wastebaskets in my bathrooms, covering paper mache "blanks" with fabric and ribbon. Chairseat covers, accent pillows, picture mats.....
ReplyDeleteLove the fabrics - the colors are so soothing. I am fairly new at fabric creating - have been sidelined lately with a very ill husband (3 mo in hospital) and the birth of our first three healthy grandbabies (within 2 min of each other). So small projects it is, table items and baby blankets.

ReplyDeleteLove the colours. They would really brighten my house as it is winter here in Australia.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely fresh fabrics. I have recently made a quilt and in the middle of making some cushions to either match/contrast. I also make 'Quirky Village' appliques so I can use every last scrap of material!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new sewer! I'm developing my quilting skills and have made lots of cushion covers for family and friends! I'm also making bags for birthday presents this year :)
