Jewel tones make me feel happy and exciting and full of ideas: blue, green, hot pink.I like lots of colors mixed together, but sometimes I also need a soothing neutral to calm things down.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance!
I have the perfect mirror craft for those fabrics lol...those shades are the exact colors of my sun room! I would love a chance at winning them.
ReplyDeleteI love purple. I love purple and orange together and I think color has not rules or bounderies. I make silk florals and I tell people to trust me all the time. Don't be afraid to think outside the box. Thanks for the entry
ReplyDeleteI love colour and believe it has great effects on people! I find when creating something you can see when the colour is balanced or right. I love experimenting and seeing peoples reactions to my colour choices :)

ReplyDelete..colors affect me in many ways and depending on the current mood at the time. Greens are my favorite, it makes me feel cool, peaceful and natural... like being in a cool forest during summer hot days.
ReplyDeleteWhen I have had a bad day at work, I cannot get home quick enough to my sewing room and look at all the color to turn my day around. Seriously...it just puts me in such a different place. Thanks for this awesome giveaway, Melissa!! I LOVE this fabric!!
ReplyDeleteColors adjust my mood, I think. This pretty bundle gives energy and sassiness. Great feeling!
ReplyDeleteI've recently struggled with color. I moved and have had THE hardest time decorating my bedroom. I've finally figured out that my bedroom needs to be a super neutral, quiet color scheme with small punches of bright colors. (A bright blue & green throw for the bed is the first planned project). This is the opposite of what I wear and typically sew with. Guess my mind needs a place to go 'ahhh' after a creative day.
ReplyDeleteI love lots of color, it makes me happy.?
ReplyDeleteI have always found color to have a tremendous affect on me. I love the color yellow and it just plain makes me happy. I definitely tend toward brighter colors no matter the actual hue.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the combination of blue and aqua. It makes me feel peaceful and calm.

ReplyDeleteI've been drawn to warm, earthy colors and vintage florals for the longest time. But the past few years a big change has been simmering... I'm dreaming of turquoise, burnt orange, apple green, zebra print, silver, crystal chandeliers, greys and yellows. I just feel powered up imagining the new interior landscape!
ReplyDeleteI came to your blog because of the post on Mod Podge Rocks. Love those clips! I'm very happy to find your blog because you have some delicious projects. Funny thing about color affecting me - most of my life I've been particularly affected by dark green, especially woodwork. After years of pondering the curious attraction I have to it, I theorized that my grandparents' summer cottage had green woodwork. I only went there once or twice, but it was grand fun. So, maybe there is an emotional connection from that fun experience at their cottage. I finally got around to painting the woodwork in my dining room dark green last year, and hanging curtains with a good bit of green in them. I love it. Anyway, I love the delightful palette in the Summersault collection. It's as cheerful as spring flowers--or summer, since Erin's spelling it that way!
ReplyDeleteColor is everything visual to me. I am such a visual person/learner and need the color. I used to love red the most and now I have gone to blue. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteColor is what inspires me to create. I love to wear black and add brightly colored accessories. I love using bright, neon colors in my crafts and art. Color is why I use glitter, to catch the reflection of light, so magical. Color reminds me of how important light is.
ReplyDeleteColor affects my mood, and likewise, my mood affects my color. I love bright cheerful colors, but I have to have a dark contrast to ground me. Otherwise, I can be a bit to "cheery". I love the colors in the summersault giveaway! Thanks for the fun of the giveaway!

ReplyDeleteColor speaks to me everyday. I've always had a relationship with color & dread the day that I no longer see them as well as I do or take joy in what color brings to my life, my house, etc. And the colors in my life are ever changing. The question "what's your favorite color" shouldn't be so difficult to answer ;) But it is....
ReplyDeleteI am in love with all kinds of bright colors! They make me happy. Pastels are not for me.
ReplyDeleteHi! I stopped by because of my friend Cindy. Your bag pattern is very cute. Color: To me I see color as an expression of seasons and moods. When I see pinks and yellows and aquas I think of summer and beaches. Reds and greens and golds I think Christmas. :) I am usually drawn to the summery tones and definitely pinks and blues of all shades. Thanks for the chance to win the fat 1/8 bundle.
ReplyDeleteThe color blue is very soothing and relaxing. It is interesting how color affects our moods and energy levels. Pastels remind me of spring and summer, summer being my favorite time of the year. That is, if humidity doesn't go over the top!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh those fabrics are gorgeous! I love color. Color is my life. I am in the process of updating my house and every room is going to be a brighter cheerier color. I love bright colors because they make me happy! Bright colors bring a smile to my face! I'd love to win this.

Color most definitely affects me. The colors in my home were chosen for how they make me feel...happy and relaxed. I love color in my clothing. Especially pinks and blues....
ReplyDeleteI find that when I am wearing brighter colors I am in a happier, brighter mood.

Color is awesome! I tend to wear darker colors because on the heavier side and want to hide it, but for the kiddo we do bright bold colors. JoAnn's got me again today because they have their Tutti Frutti line on sale it was 50% off and the colors are so cheery and bright, I love'em! Thanks for a great giveaway and the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteDepending on my mood, certain colours can cheer me up or other calm me down. For cheerful colours I love aqua, red and green and for calm I like beige, gray and blue. Orange and yellow sometimes make me feel irritated, that's why I couldn't use these colours in decorating.
ReplyDeleteHi there, just popped over from Carolina's blog.
ReplyDeleteColour affects my mood! Depending on the colour, shade or presentation it can really lighten my mood or it can calm or excite me. Sometimes it even makes me cranky!
I live by color...really I do. o much of life is saturated with it. I've chosen to surround myself with reds, blue, pretty pinks and spots of black.
