A box of flannel arrived on my doorstep and I jumped into action. With no specific plan and no requirements other than size, I did what I love doing best. Let the fabric do its thing. The Buttonwood print begged for drama so I gave it a star burst pattern.
The colors are upbeat. The designs are lighthearted. Greenhouse is perfect for children and those who are still children at heart.
So gorgeous! I'll bet it was super soft!! I made a flannel quilt once and it was so cozy!
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE all your posts!! The market goodies you made are beautiful, Melissa!! I'm glad Stinka found a place to hand that enhanced his (?) beauty. :o) The flannel looks so soft and comfy...I could just snuggle up in something like that with a nice cup of coffee and a good book. I am so glad to have met you. You have inspired me more than you will ever know!
ReplyDeleteYou can just sense how lovely and soft this quilt would be. The pattern is perfect for setting those fabrics off! I really love the flowery button details and the triple borders. You're amazing at knowing how to use a fabric to it's best ability!
