Still At The Keyboard

Hello. I've been putting some time in on the website, loading images, writing bits of copy and trying to make sure it says "Melissa P live here!"  I feel like I've been trapped in cyberspace for the last couple days.  It's a good thing a certain black cat comes by regularly to check on me, calling me outdoors for a little change of scenery.

I hope things have been going well with you. Does anyone have anything exciting to report? New projects? New ideas?

    Beautiful quilt and kitty! I have been off the computer and sewing up a storm, quite remarkable for a painter who doesn't sew. I was asked to do an art show by a lady who sews very cool modern handbags. Watercolors didn't seem like a good fit so I am making simple zipper cases. I am embellishing them with embroidery and paint and everything under the sun. I will have lots to post when I get them finished. Who knew sewing could be such fun? Well, all of you of course!
