Must See

Have you seen Stitched yet? A documentary that follows the process of three art quilters as they make a quilt to enter at Quilt Market in Houston, Stitched will inspire you. The passions of Caryl Bryer Fallert, Hollis Chatelain and Randall Cook shine throughout the film. Not just passion for their art, but for life and living.

The filmmakers came to Visions Art Museum at Liberty Station yesterday for a showing. I am so glad I went. Jena Moreno and Tom Gandy were on hand to talk about "The Making Of" and to answer questions. With no prior knowledge or experience of the quilting world, they have produced a film that carefully showcases the best qualities of quilters of all types and skill levels:  passion, love and a great sense of humor.

  3. That sounds like a great movie!! I'm going to get it. Quilt Market is like a fantasy of fabric fun and wonderful designers and clever quilters, it would be interesting to watch a documentary about it and get the real picture.
