CD/DVD Organizer -- Free Tutorial Available

Does your desk have a small stack of CDs that frequently get lost in the paperwork? Do you wish you had a way to keep them handy without resorting to an ugly case? Maybe even a way to incorporate some of your fabric favorites into the work space? This Media Mate tutorial is available at FreeSpirit's blog for free.
I have highlighted David Butler's Curious Nature fabrics in the first two. (Perfect for anyone who has allergies to floral fabric.)  Look for this collection to arrive in shops this month. The third one dazzles in Amy Butler's Lark fabric. Lark is currently available in shops and online.

The project uses a layer of Peltex Ultra Firm Double Sided Stabilizer to give this little case a bit of stability. But don't worry. The construction is simple and straightforward. You can whip up a stack of these in an afternoon.

No more boring cubicle. No more sloppy stacks of CDs.
(Project measures 5  1/2" by 14" finished.)

  3. What a great idea! Great fabric choices. Curious Nature is going to be huge! There's no other range around quite like it. I love your combo of Lark, they really do sparkle!
