Thread Play

Today is gray and unmotivating.  To cheer myself up I sat and played at the new sewing computer.  This stitch added the perfect touch to a new folder holder.  The thread is Rowan's Kaffe Fassett thread in Red Rose from the Circus collection.  The fabric is Garden Divas.  They play so well together.

Enjoy this last Saturday before Christmas!  Don't forget to take time to relax and put your feet up.

  1. The folder cover is so pretty, love your choice of fabric. I have been Christmas shopping ALL day, so am very happy to now be putting my feet up!

  3. That stitch is sooo pretty. I would do rows and rows of it. I noticed you said you were having a grey day. Perhaps I should post tomorrow to show you what grey (or gray) can look like when it is freezing cold. I have been trying not to post ( so as not to fess up in public as to something I did). 4. I do think I'll be using this stitch often. So many places it could be used.

And Carolina--yes, yes...post it. It will remind me to be grateful for my moderate temperatures.

  5. Looking good! How did you like the thread? Is it the standard size of thread or thicker? It looks standard but hard to tell for sure in the flowers. Very pretty either way!

  6. The thread is size 30 weight. And so far, it is low lint as advertised. And of course, the colors are amazing.
