Is there an easier way to change the look of a room than pillow covers? I don't think so. They don't require taking down curtain rods or climbing ladders. They don't require clean up. And they're so easy, you can change things up as often as your mood dictates. You may remember these pillows from this post. The pattern is now available in the Etsy shop so you can enjoy some of your own. Just in time for the holidays.
I know it isn't nice to play favorites, but this lace up pillow is definitely my favorite of the group. In the photo above you can see it made up in Jane's new Garden Divas. I added black velvet ribbon on either side of the lacing before stitching the pillow together. With the black organza ribbon this is quite the show stopper.
For this envelope style cover, I added the a tassel for extra drama. Taking it from pretty to gorgeous in about 30 seconds. This cover closes with simple velcro. The decorative button covers the stitching required to affix the velcro.
The last of these easy pillow covers is a great way to play with both coordinating fabrics and large scale prints. And as you know, I love Jane's large scale floral designs. They are remarkably versatile.
These three dark beauties went to Quilt Market with Jane where I hope they wowed everyone. I know I enjoyed seeing them come together. The pattern is for 16 inch pillow forms and yardage requirements are given for each individual pillow. If you have company coming for the holidays, this is a great time to whip these up. Or give as gifts.
WOW - super creative! I love them!
