Free Groovy Bag Pattern & Fabric: It's in the Genes

Want to make your own groovy bag? Need a quick gift for a small or not-so-small someone? The bag featured in yesterday's post has been well received. I would love for everyone to join in the fun. To that end, there is now a pattern available for free so that you can do just that. Yes, you heard correctly--FREE! Just go down the left hand column under "Freebies" and click on the "Movin' and Groovin' Bag Pattern". As always, if you have problems accessing the page, send me an email and I will send you a pdf file directly.

The grateful recipient of this bag is my niece.  She was in town over the weekend and was able to spend a day and a night with her Aunt Melissa.  Lots of laughs and storytelling.  Before we got carried away, we fit in a quick "photo shoot" with her new Sis Boom finery.  Two elastic waist skirts and the bag have been added to her wardrobe.  (Look for the "necklace" in the photo below to make an appearance on the blog soon.  Complete How-To is upcoming.)
I think there may be some sort of genetic coding for the fabric gene.  We sat at Baja Fresh last night for dinner when out of the blue, Little Miss said, "What if you couldn't afford money to buy a new car but you could afford to buy fabric.  You could just put fabric on your car.  Like pink with blue polka dots.  And a green convertible top!"  Love that girl to death!
