Back to Business

Was it a good weekend?  Productive?  Relaxing?  I hope you enjoyed some creative time in there somewhere.  Even if only to sit and watch a sunset or a storm cloud.

I am happy to report the skunks have moved on to a more hospitable location.  I'm sure they are rooting around our yard for food in the night but at least they aren't staying over.  The "den" has been cleaned up and securely blocked.
The weekend has been productive here.  Pattern writing, craft making and a little yarn time.  The sun hasn't been very cooperative so pictures will have to wait.  In the meantime, the paper tubes in the photos are in my "Find something crafty to do with this" area.  Ledger paper aged to a nice patina on the edges was just too interesting to throw away.  For now, they sit in a small vase like a left brained attempt at creativity.

  1. Glad to hear Pepe Le Pew and his peeps are off to find betters digs. What ARE you going to do with all that ledger paper? Lamp shades? Paper dolls? background for a diorama? Use it as gift wrapping that you can do some fancy stamping on? What?

  2. Great ideas! A lamp shade would be cool. I haven't actually made up my mind yet. I figured I could glue the sheets while I mulled it over. Now you added more for me to think about. :)

  3. The left side of your brain is as creative as your right. I can just imagine these looking wonderful in a vase. You've been so busy making such beautiful things with stunning fabrics!!
