By Hook or by Crook

Gray skies and cool temps this weekend really motivated me to get into the yarn.  I made a whole stack of wrist warmers for Christmas gifts.  These are from a free Lion Brand Yarn pattern called Gretna Gauntlets.  They are so ridiculously quick and easy..  The ones in the photo are made with Stitch Nation Full o' Sheep, a single ply wool yarn.  I also made some in Stitch Nation Bamboo Ewe and Alpaca Love.  The Bamboo Ewe is my favorite--just the right amount of softness.

What did you do this weekend?  Any progress on the Christmas list?  Any handmade goodies complete?

  1. If unloading 1500 lbs of tile and enough grout for it from the back of the pick up truck is Christmas progress, then yes- I made progress. If lugging two nine foot Fraser firs all through the house is Christmas progress, then I have made progress, if it means joyfully resembling a busy little elf in my studio, then no, I have not made any Christmas progress and that makes me sad.
