Pinks in the Park

I love the Park.  It's all about bromeliads in the Botanical Garden at the moment. 

The pinks and the spiny parts are visually arresting.

So many varieties of the unusual.
Some even seem to have a sprinkling of pixie dust.
Others have a faint fairy glow about them.
All of them are marvelous.

    Broms are just the best aren't they! We have some in our garden that are bright bright red and seem to come out in flower on Christmas Day. I call them Magic Christmas Broms.

    When we lived in Sarasota,Florida, we used to go the the Selby Botanical Gardens. It was fabulous. It was very hard to leave the place to go home to make dinner. It was right on the edge of the ocean and all their plants were mind boggling. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Carolina
