In the Interim

I'm dying to show you what was in this box.  But I can't.  I'm sworn to secrecy.  Well, there wasn't any actually swearing involved, but the collection hasn't been revealed yet so I absolutely cannot give you any peeks.  And soon it will be transformed and on its way to Quilt Market.  My little box of stunt sewing.  It's making me very happy indeed.

In the meantime, you get to see just how much cat you can fit in a Medium Priority Mail box.  And a few things I got for my birthday last week.  Like these four pieces of Anna Maria's brand new collection, Innocent Crush.  I love, love, love these rich colors and free spirited designs.  Quilt Home has it in stock here.  These fabrics will make wonderful handmade gifts for the holidays.  You are thinking of handmade for the holidays, aren't you?
And then my little stash of gluten free goodies that were hand delivered to me by my brother from Colorado.  I know,  I know.  Big deal.  But if you're gluten free in Southern California, you do not have much variety.  Slowly, it is getting better.  But only slowly.  So graham style crackers.....great stuff!  And the yogurt covered pretzels...yum!  (You can't see those in the picture because I already devoured them.)
I need to get back to the machine.  Especially while the cat is sleeping.  Something about making hay while the sun shines.  Just wish that old sun would shine a little brighter.  Hope you had a great weekend.

  1. I laughed when I saw your cat in the box! I wonder what other fun things are in there. I like the sound of those yoghurt coated pretzels.

  2. Yummy goodness on both counts - food and fabric! I was privy to Anna's fabrics at a workshop she gave before they unveiled all the "Innocent Crush" to the public. It was really hard to leave the workshop without "slipping" some fabric into my bag. Carolina
    Bombardment - finished.
