Break Time

I'm in the midst of writing patterns and tutorials.  Too much left brain work.  Today, I decided I needed a break.  So I went to my Sis Boom stash for some color.  But as I was waiting for that bolt of creative lightning, a quiet little thought appeared.  It reminded me of one of the honorable mention blocks--one that didn't make it in the Rainbow Around the Block project.  I pulled it out and started adding to it.
The work horse machine is going to have to share time and space with the soon to arrive new machine.  She needed a new cover.  And what better consolation than to be wrapped up in Sis Boom's Casey Scroll?
The cover isn't bursting with color.  But it certainly is dramatic.

Have a great weekend.  And if a quiet little thought comes to mind, I suggest you listen.  You never know where it might lead.

  4. This turned out really well, it is so much nicer than the covers that come with the machines. I like to see your stash - it is my favorite part of anybodies workspace. Carolina
