Still Here

Checking in with couple of reports.  First, progress report on the wool granny squares.  They are coming along nicely.  Don't you just love that crazy colorful field of flowers?  A couple of squares while watching TV each evening and it will be done in time for cold weather.

Which leads us to the second report--the weather.  We have sun and hot temperatures along the coast!  Miracle of miracles!  I cannot tell you how deprived I have felt with all the unusually cool weather we've had this year.  While it is true that seasons in Southern California are only subtly different when compared to most of the planet, we do notice and appreciate those subtleties.  Which helps to explain why I'm so content--85 degrees with only 30% humidity.  It's the summer that never was.  At least for the next couple of days.

I'm going to luxuriate in the summer/fall weather.  Hope you are having a good weekend.

  2. I grew up in a part of Chile that has weather (& topography) like southern California- I miss it so. I can't complain too much, though, I am one of those people that seems to find unbelievable beauty wherever I am planted. Enjoy the good weather. Carolina

  3. Someday I want to pick your brain about Chile. Do you get back there once in a while?
